BACKYARD TOY TREASURES! (Eli laughing) Phoebe McCallaster: In local news tonight three boys are being hailed heroes after rescuing a Pirate named Barrrt. Teaming up together brothers Ben, Noah and Eli competed and defeated sassy Pirates Frostbite and Rosie in a group of beach games. Pirates Frosty and Rosie are still on the loose and considered tricky. Authorities have asked if you see them around town to leave them alone and call them immediately. In other news the mayor has declared Thursday is canceled. Now to Rhonda with the weather, Rhonda? Pirate Barrrt: Arrrrr. Oh hey boys! (Boys: Hey Barrrt). I’ve been looking all over for you. I didn’t get a chance thank you for rescuing me the other day and so as a token of my appreciation I brought you some sand toys! Ben: Yay! Pirate Barrrt: We got, all sorts of beach balls, and this kind of stuff (Boys: Yay!), and there’s a kite and some badminton stuff and you mind if I join you guys? Ben: Sure! Pirate Barrrt: Awesome, okay! Ben: Yay! Noah: Can you flip mine over, I’m not that good? Pirate Barrrt: Yeah, let’s do it. That’s good, where do you want to put it? Here, let’s get this stuff open… Noah: Right here! On this one! Pirate Barrrt: On top of that one, okay. Yeah I like this, we can open that one too. Pirate Barrrt: Alright (Ben: Yay!), there we go, awesome! Ben: Here Barrrt. Pirate Barrrt: I’ll put this in here, thank you! Pirate Barrrt: Where do you want to put it, on top, it might crumble it, you want to try anyway? Noah: Yeah. Pirate Barrrt: Okay, here we go. Noah & Barrrt (laughing) Pirate Barrrt: That’s okay, that’s okay. Eli: Sorry Barrrt. Pirate Barrrt: That’s okay. Ben: An extra shovel! Eli: Can you get some water in here, Barrrt? Pirate Barrrt: Yeah that sounds good, I’ll go get some water. Eli: Good! Good! Eli: Good! Noah: I’m gonna get out the kite and fly it! Livy: Hey guys, what’s up?! The boys: HI! Livy: Ahhh, Pirate Barrrt is here! What are you doing here?! Pirate Barrrt: Hey Livy and Elise. Elise: What are you doing here? Ben: Wait guys, he’s our friend! Livy: Ohhhh, well that means, we can be friends with him too! Livy: Hey, do you want to have a sand castle building contest? Ben/Livy/Elise: YEAH! Ben/Livy/Elise/Pirate Barrrt: BATTLE!! Pirate Barrrt: All right why don’t the girls set up next to the boys and we’ll have a competition and I’ll tell you a tale. ElI: Can you get water Barrrt? Pirate Barrrt: All right hang on why does everybody get their spot and everybody get comfortable so I can tell my Piratey tale. …About ten years ago I was out looking Noah: …for treasure! Pirate Barrrt: Arrrr! If I follow the path, I can get to the “X” Boy this spyglass is really dirty! I wonder if I can clean it. Found the case. Put this down a minute. Hey, what’s this?! I’ve never noticed that before. (reading) Son, The Spyglass and Pirate Ship were passed down from Grandpa Bartholomew …who received them from the Fairy Queen in the realm of the Fairies. Keep them safe, Love Dad. PS…Mom and I never found the key. Arrrrrr. (reading) There is a key that also works with me, add in the Pirate Ship and we make three, a perfect treasure hunting team. The Pirate Ship and the Spyglass. I wonder how they work, I’ve never tried to use them together. I guess I better give that a shot. Try it like that. OH! OH! OH! This way! This way! THERE IT IS! Better mark that, been there. Arrrr. Pirate Barrrt: So that’s how I came about finding all that treasure! Noah: Did you ever find the key? Pirate Barrrt: You know, can I trust you guys? (The kids: Yes). Pirate Barrrt: I did find that key. Ben: And what’s the anchor for? Pirate Barrrt: The anchor is the necklace that the Pirate Fairy Queen gave to me. Livy: I like fairies! Pirate Barrrt: You can’t ever tell Pirates Frosty and Rosie about it because if they find… Livy & Elise (in unison): THOSE ARE OUR TWIN SISTERS! Pirate Barrrt: Well don’t ever tell them. They could open up any treasure in the world with this key. Livy: Would it cause nonsense? Elise: But they’re good to us! They’re nice! Pirate Barrrt: Well, they keep trying to steal me stuff. Elise: Are they bad guys? Pirate Barrrt: I don’t know if they’re bad guys but they keep trying to steal me stuff. Ben: YEAH! Ben: Last time when we met them, they stole Pirate Barrrt. Ben: And they asked us to have a competition. Pirate Barrrt: They did! Speaking of competition, let’s look at the sand castles! Ben: Which one is better? Pirate Barrrt: Arrrr, I really like all the different buildings in that one. Pirate Barrrt: …and that one is an awesome mountain. Pirate Barrrt: THEY’RE BOTH WINNERS! The kids (cheering): YAY! Pirate Barrrt: Let’s go play in the water, get you boogie boards! Noah: Which boogie board?! Livy: Subscribe to our channel and hit the bell button! BYE! Pirate Barrrt: God job Ben!
